We might see life on other planets soon
Nobel Laureate Brian Schmidt about discovering life out there and why we won't be able to get there
Brian Schmidt was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2011 "for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae." So he seemed to be the right person to talk to about space travel and life in the universe for World UFO Day. Schmidt, the Vice-Chancellor of the Australian National University, believes we could find extraterrestrial life within his lifespan. He just doubts we could find a way to go and see it anytime soon.
